Moonlight

Beautiful she
Sits with dignity—
Tail wrapped about her feet,
Black as midnight,
A bit of moonlight
Glowing on her chest,
Green eyes slowly blinking.
Bright sun warms her coat
Through the windowpane,
But beautiful she
Sits regally unaware
Of her watcher.
