Turn my heart to you, Lord.
Burn my heart for you,
Till the towering inferno of zeal
Cleanses me of double-mindedness,
So I can lay down…
So I WANT to lay down all distractions—
Becoming singly focused on You.
Raise me to the higher plane;
Set my feet on solid ground—
The Rock of Your Salvation.
I need You, Holy Spirit,
To help me desire Your presence,
Your company along the way,
So I can cling to Your hand
When I stumble.
Lord, please don’t let me fall.
