I’ve been writing poetry since I was 16 years old. It’s the sort of the thing that is such a part of me that I can’t “not write”… so I write. Most of what I write comes out of my personal struggles and usually straight out of the pages of my journal. There are happy moments and sad moments and angry moments. I have written things for the newsletter where I used to work, so some of the poetry is somewhat philosophical in nature in my attempts to avoid crossing the professional line with my faith-based writings. In any case, what I can say most characterizes my writings in general is that they are, unashamedly, ME–real, sometimes gut-wrenchingly honest, outpourings of who I am in a readable form. I don’t believe in masks, or pretending to be or feel something I am not. With that said, read on, having been warned that it is not always the most pleasant experience, but knowing that what you read is something that you can relate to in your own human struggles and feelings. May you be blessed, enriched, and ministered to by what you read.

I have a published book called Reflections In A Clouded Mirror which came out in September of 2002. You can find it at both Amazon.com and at BarnesandNoble.com.
