The splendor of Your holiness
Is like a newborn star,
Whose brilliance light the universe,
Whose beauty shines so far.
The glory man cannot embrace
Displays Your greatness, hides Your face.

I pray, O Lord, that I would be
Your light of hope for men
That all who come could only see
Your grace, Your love for them.
Exemplify Your mercy, Lord,
Redeeming lives with every word.

Holy Spirit, breathe new power.
Renew my passion for
Your people in this very hour.
Please, call us all toward more.
And God, please, multiply Your life
For everyone who seeks Your light.

It’s time to take the hammer to the anvil.
It’s time to put the metal in to forge.
The fires are burning hotter than they’ve ever been,
And war’s on the horizon with a surge.

Your people, Lord, Your people need Messiah—
Who came already saving us from sin.
But now the whole world’s closing in on Israel.
We need to see You come as reigning King.

The hour is late, Lord, and Your mercy great.
When will You conquer those refusing Light—
Submission to provision through the cross,
Christ’s sacrificial death and resurrection life.

For only You, Lord, You can save Your children
From desolate destruction that will come
The end is clearly near for people watching
And only You are where our help comes from.

Most Holy God on High, I now beseech You
To send Faithful and True on His white steed
To be our righteous judge in holy war
And cover us with mercy in our need.

Just when I think I’ll be fine…
Things are going to be okay,
Life is going to settle down…
Something happens.
In my life “something� is usually not small;
It’s a right-down-to-the-wire MAJOR issue.
According to Erma Bombeck,
“Normal is a setting on the washing machine.�
So, really, normal is a relative term.
“Normal� for me seems to be “crisis-mode.�
I am learning, like Paul, to be content in
Whatever state I am in—calm or crisis.
But it remains for me to trust that
Christ strengthens me…
Because today I know I am weak,
Fainting with the uncertainty of tomorrow.
Still… not to think this time, but to pray,
Not to trust in false hope, but to hope in true faith.
I choose again
His life within me while I am crucified with Him,
Maybe this time I’ll really die to myself
…Maybe.

The fresh fire of Your presence
Ever tries me, and purifies me.
The warm wind of Your Spirit
Comforts sorrow, restores tomorrow.
The sweet scent of Your mercy
Never ceases, ever increases.

Lord, You are my source.
You lift me up.
You let me sing.
Lord, You are my life.
You are my Christ.
You are my King.

With full faith I will trust You
Hope anew, more pleasing to You, Lord,
As deep down You keep working
Still to correct me and to perfect me.
The pure peace in Your will, God
All encloses, never imposes.

The sole source of salvation—
Your blood flowing, triumphant knowing…
Your great grace poured out to me
Still renews me, flows on through me.
The whole world will adore You—
Only You, God, the only true God.

_____________________
Your holy love cannot be measured.
Enfolding us, You whisper Your truth—
That we are Your treasure.
